Tasha Smith Reveals What 8 Years of Celibacy Taught Her
Tasha Smith didn’t hold back about her celibacy journey. She shared that from the age of 14-25, she did a lot, from engaging in promiscuity to struggling with drug addiction. However, it wasn’t until she got born again that she realized how much she needed a sabbatical.
“I stopped doing cocaine, I stopped drinking, I stopped smoking cigarettes, I stopped having sex, girl”….
In addition to that, Smith revealed she was celibate for eight years from the time she was 25 years old to 33 years old.

Afterward, Ford then asked if she had tried dating during that time, and she responded,
“I did, but a lot of it didn’t last long because men weren’t interested in that. A lot of times, most men aren’t interested in that; they want situationships. “
Smith continued to say,
“As women, most of us are really wives. We aren’t designed to be in situationships. We’re loving, kind, we cook. We’re caretakers to our friends, we take care of our man just like a wife would.
In short, Tasha continued, stating,
“Sometimes it’s like we keep going out there giving ourselves away to everyone, but what’s given back to us?”
