Word on these social media streets is YFN Lucci is about to get released from prison any day now and Reginae Carter speaks on whether she’ll be spinning the block.
If you weren’t aware, YFN-Lucci, whose real name is (Rashawn Bennett) and Reginae Carter dated on and off for two years.
The former couple first sparked dating rumors in 2018, when she was 19 and he was 27. Their relationship immediately raised concerns due to their eight-year age gap as well as Bennett having multiple children.
They officially called it quits in 2020, after Lucci was arrested and charged with “racketeering, violating the state’s anti-gang law, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony” reported WAGA-TV FOX5.
During that time, when Reginae was asked if the arrest of Lucci, played a part in their breakup during an interview with The Shade Room Carter responded
“As you guys can see you can look it up, it’s never been like the arrest. It’s like — it’s me and my mental. I feel like me and Ray like everything is cool like I still wish the best for him but you can’t — I’m 23 years old.”
She went on to say ..
“I want to live. I can’t really do that with a man in jail. I’m sorry, I’m 23 years old, but at the end of the day I still wish the best for him.”
Now that YFN Lucci is about to get out of jail, Reginae speaks on whether she’d be down to link back up with him.
REGINE CARTER SPEAKS ON REUNITING WITH YFN LUCCI AFTER HE’S RELEASED
During her appearance on ‘The Morning Hustle Show’ with her mom, Toya Carter, Reginae opened up about possibly reconnecting with Lucci.
When the host, Lore’l asked if Reginae would be ‘spinning the block’ with Lucci, Toya quickly jumped in saying, “I don’t think it’s spinning the block season.”

Toya added,
“She don’t need to spin no blocks. She just needs to focus like she says. But I do want her to find love with somebody that’s gonna treat her right and respect her. Somebody she can build and grow with, all that good stuff. But spinning the block, ain’t no blocks getting spinned.”
Reginae Carter responded…
“No, there’s no spinning the block. I’m so happy for his kids, his family all of that and there’s no bad blood or nothing but spinning the block and being back together is something thats not going to happen”
Reginae Carter also discussed her decision to maintain a private life. She feels that people pay more attention to who she’s dating than to her work.
“My relationships has been the highlight of my life. I just feel like people always obsessed with my relationships and don’t really pay attention to my craft and my talent. I’ll drop a movie the same week, but then be seen with a boy and that will get posted and not my movie. I want people to focus on me, because them men they are a [distraction] in my life,” Reginae said.
